LG Innotek operates its R&D Lab in Russia, and has formed strategic alliances with leading enterprises in the U.S., Europe and Japan, creating a formidable global R&D network. Our company continues to secure technology leadership and explore future leading-edge technologies. We also conduct state-run projects initiated by the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Energy, in joint cooperation with Korea Photonics Technology Institute and regional companies in the photonics field. We established and currently operate the R&D Support Center at the Chonnam National University, and the Electronics Components Research Complex at Hanyang University, offering a master’s degree course tailored to address corporate needs and requirements. We likewise lead various R&D projects jointly with academia and research centers, contributing to the development of the nation and its communities.

Aided by its seven core and leading-edge technologies, LG Innotek develops core components such as combined RF, power, camera, and display modules, photonic elements, and small precision motors, in the areas of digital information-based home appliances, wireless communications, and display. Thus, we lead in the manufacturing of smaller set-based products, in enhancing product performance, and in promoting the sophistication of these products while offering the best value to our customers. We will continue our efforts to be in the forefront of next-generation technologies in components, the basis of development in the electronics industry. We will also continue to secure source technologies, becoming a global leader in manufacturing electronics components.
