LG Innotek operates the powerful KPI based objective management system, with which all the staff can be immersed into the one objective aligned to the company strategy.
The system is the model that the BSC (Balanced Scorecard) is modified for manufacturing companies to manage short-term and long-term, finance and non-finance, output and process, and capacity in balanced manner. Having adopted this system, the whole company’s strategy and business plan is matched with the goals of each department. Also, this system allows staff to autonomously control the related index so that the organization’s capacity expansion and the required internal profitability can be simultaneously satisfied. Thus, LG Innotek is consolidating the position as a global company.

TDR activities mean that One Team consisted of the experts in various areas complete the project “perfectly without any issue.”
The difference from the general project activities is to seek the resolution by tearing the existing all the process and designing completely newly, in order to remedy the fundamental causes of issues following to the original meaning of “Tear down & Redesign”. The activities are pursuing the perfect resolution with an invisible rule that nobody can leave the TDR room until the issues are sorted out.
The process of TDR activities is Project selection → Team Formation → Team Building Melt-in → Execution → Follow-up → Evaluation & Reward, which are implemented based on the 6σ philosophy and skill. The skill is also supported by 6σ specialists who have Master Black Belt or Black Belt and the team is rewarded according to the performance rating when the project is finished. To the team selected at the Best Practice Event, the prize of overseas tour will be given to the members’ couples.
* For the maximization of performance and reinforcement of implementation, the supporting system of TDR Project is designed with 3 axis such Champion Review, Skill Support, and Motivation.

The 6σ activities are the company-wide innovative management activities, defined as 4 meanings such as ‘statistic meaning of 3.4 unit defect out of 1 million units’, ‘tool for resolving issues’, ‘company-wide innovative management strategy’, ‘business philosophy’.
LG Innotek adopted 6σ from 1999 and is now using as the powerful tool for the management innovation for the improvement of profitability passing over the quality improvement movement in the past. By practicing 6σ activities, LG Innotek is pursuing the company vision of “The First Partner” and will realize the 6σ company through internalizing the 6σ campaign continuously.
The 6σ activities are to reinforce all the staff’s capability for the people, to pursue the creation of customer value continuously via the development of optimal process, and to achieve the extreme cost innovation and the best quality product.
LG Innotek declares “No.1 component! Stretch goal, Fast execution, High performance” as the innovative slogan and share the meanings with all the staff.
