LG Innotek shall establish a Crisis Management Policy as follows and execute it faithfully in order to build up a crisis management system and secure its business continuity.
1. Employees shall internalize the corporate crisis management structure to prepare for crisis thoroughly and respond to a crisis immediately.
2. Build organization and structure suitable for crisis management and set-up communication framework to improve crisis management standard continuously.
3. Execute repeated crisis response training and improvement activity to enhance employees’ competence on crisis response and resilience.
4. Fulfill requirement of interested parties such as customer faithfully and reinforce recovery ability on significant crisis.
5. Achieve organizational culture which employees transparently communicate vulnerabilities such as accident through continuous education and internal announcement.

Crisis Management
Failure to properly to respond a corporate crisis can result in a management crisis, such as paralysis of the company’s key operations, damage to the company’s reputation, and loss of customer. Since a crisis not only results in human and material losses, but also the loss of trust from stakeholders, and threaten the existence of the company. In response, LG Innotek has organized a crisis management team under the CRO and established and operates a company-wide crisis management system to prevent, prepare for, and respond to crises.

LG Innotek operates the Company-wide Emergency Response Committee to respond to and make decisions in a critical crisis situation. With the CEO as chairperson and the CRO as leader of the general control tower, the Committee functions as a crisis management control tower to oversee the company’s overall crisis response system and process.

LG Innotek operates subcommittees for each major crisis area and prepare crisis-related regulations for each division to carry out crisis management activities. Each subcommittees not only responds to the initial response in the event of a crisis, but also determines the crisis level and responds to the crisis in cooperation with related subcommittees and operates the company-wide crisis management system through communication such as regular meetings.

LG Innotek is strengthening our practical crisis response capabilities by creating crisis response manuals for major types of crises and conducting crisis response drills based on the manuals. We conduct company-wide General drills by the CEO and The simulation drill by subcommittee led according to the annual plan.

LG Innotek regularly identifies and assess emerging risks that could significantly impact its business operations and develops contingency plans to response these risks.
Increased Risk of Corporate and Customer Data Breach Due to the Advancement of AI Technology
With various AI technologies, including generative AI, spreading across industries, cyberattacks using these technologies are expected to become increasingly sophisticated. As advances in artificial intelligence increase the risk of unauthorized access to corporate and customer data, LG Innotek operates a comprehensive cybersecurity framework that incorporates advanced firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and data encryption technologies. Continuous monitoring enables the company to promptly identify vulnerabilities and implement corrective measures.
Increasing Global Supply Chain Risks Due to External Environmental Changes
External factors such as natural disasters, armed conflicts, trade disputes, and regulatory changes can heighten global supply chain risks. To address global supply chain risks, LG Innotek utilizes a global disaster alert system and a supply chain risk management system to detect and monitor potential risks. Based on identified key supply chain risks, we proactively assess and respond to potential disruptions, thereby strengthening our supply chain management system.
ISO Certification for Business Continuity Management System
To ensure a system that can restore core business operations in the shortest possible time in the event of an unexpected disruption, LG Innotek is pursuing ISO 22301 certification, and is expanding the scope of business continuity management system construction by acquiring certification for the Gumi plant, Paju plant, and Haiphong Subsidiary in Vietnam.

Information Security Policy
LG Innotek shall recognize information security as an essential element for sustainable management and establish an Information Security Policy as follows and execute it faithfully in order to safely protect the company's assets from information security threats.
1. Comply with the laws related to information security in Korea and overseas where our company conducts its business and fulfill its social responsibilities.
2. Secure trust from the company's customers and stakeholders by faithfully fulfilling information security requirements set by them.
3. Build an information security organization and system that fits the scale and business of the company and enhance the company's information security standard continuously.
4. Establish a prevention, detection, and response system against potential information security incidents to foster a safe business environment.
5. Promote the settlement of an information security culture by enhancing the information security awareness of the company's employees and partners.

Information Security
At LG Innotek, the following information security management system is up and running to protect tangible/intangible corporate assets from security incidents and threats and to comply with applicable laws and regulations.
Organization and Operational System
In order to achieve the information security missions of “protecting the company’s tangible and intangible assets” and “minimizing the risk of security accidents,” LG Innotek has designated a Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) and is operating a dedicated information security department under the leadership of the CISO.
Information Security Policy and Measures
LG Innotek’s information security organization is responsible for establishing information security policies that guide all our information security activities. The organization analyzes security threats against the assets we own and manage, and leverages the outcomes to implement managerial, physical and technical measures to prevent, detect and address security incidents.
Improvement in Employees’ Awareness
At LG Innotek, our goal is to deeply embed information security into our cultural DNA. To this end, we engage in regular training and year-round publicity activities to help employees accurately understand the Company’s information security policy, make sound judgements and take action accordingly when the need for security arises while performing the functions required of their position. In addition, we conduct a host of information security mock drills for employees to build stronger response capabilities in the event of security incidents.
Information Security Certification
To verify the effectiveness of internal security regulations and management plans, LG Innotek updates its audit checklist annually and conducts internal audits on a regular basis. When necessary, third-party audits, both internal and external, are conducted concurrently to ensure that security policies are effectively implemented. Identified vulnerabilities are addressed through targeted improvement measures to proactively prevent security incidents. To verify the effectiveness of its information security standards and policies, LG Innotek maintains ISO 27001 (Information Security Management System) and ISO 27701 (Privacy Information Management System) certifications. In addition, the Company has obtained TISAX (Trusted Information Security Assessment eXchange) certification required to support the global expansion of its Mobility Solutions Business.
