LG Innotek (CEO Ung-Beom Lee) conducted a “Santa in Action’ program at its Paju Plant on December 12. At the event, more than 30 LG Innotek executives and staffers invited over 40 children from the Paju region, and had a memorable time with them.

“Santa in Action” is LG Innotek’s year-end corporate social responsibility program, through which the Company seeks to share happiness with children from multicultural families and underprivileged households. In the program, LG Innotek executives and staff members clad in Santa Clause costume present Christmas cards and gifts to children, and spend time together, making cake. The program, which started in 2010, marks the third even this year.

Starting in Paju on December 12, the Company will conduct this year’s program to benefit a total of 320 children at seven worksites, including Seoul, Ansan, Osan, Cheongju, Gwangju and Gumi, through December 20.

Apart from “Santa in Action,” LG Innotek plans to implement diverse other programs to provide assistance to children in need of help. The Company will continue to conduct programs such as the ‘Hope Mentoring,” a mentoring program linking company staff and executives with children from multicultural families, and “Science Leader Club,” which is aimed at nurturing talented science human resources among children from multicultural families, as it focuses on supporting those children.
