LG Innotek (represented by Hur Young-Ho) held the “Santa is coming to see you” program at a multicultural family support center in Guemchon-dong, Paju-si, Gyeonggi-do, on December 13, 2011. LG Innotek’s ‘Santa is coming to see you’ program is a year-end social contribution event in which members of LG Innotek’s labor union and LG Innotek employees dress up as Santa Claus and give Christmas cards and presents to children from multicultural families, before making Christmas cakes together with the children. This is just the second time the company has held the event, following on from last year.
The ‘Santa is coming to see you’ event will be held throughout the Christmas month for some 300 children from multicultural families at various company sites including Seoul, Ansan, Gwangju and Gumi, beginning with communities in the vicinity of the Paju plant.
LG Innotek has continuously provided tangible support including the ‘Hope Mentoring Class’ and the ‘Green Energy Camp’ for children from multicultural families to help them develop identity and grow up as integrated and valued members of Korean society.
