LG Innotek (CEO: Young Ho, Hur) launched a Community Service Team led by its employees, thus taking the initiative in making efforts to provide social services.

The company inaugurated the Community Service Team at its headquarters in Namdaemunro, Seoul, on July 20th

The welcoming ceremony was attended by the CEO, Young Ho, Hur, and representatives of the Service Teams spread across local operations in Gwangju, Gumi, Osan, Ansan, Cheongju, Paju, etc., to share future plans, while team members reaffirmed their determination by taking oaths.

LG Innotek prepared welcoming ceremony for substantial and uniform community services via different local operations beginning of this year, under the theme of "Education for Multi-cultural Families and Juveniles"

Starting with the launch of the Community Service Team, the company is planning to hold a blood donation campaign from July 23th, as well as other programs in which all local Service Teams will be encouraged to participate each quarter.

The blood donation campaign is slated to be held in all operations of LG Innotek, and the blood donors’ official registrations will be sent to multi-cultural family-related centers located near to each operation.

The company is also planning to develop and implement a program in which all employees can take part, such as a science class for juveniles and a mentoring program for multi-cultural families.

An official at LG Innotek announced, “We hold this welcoming ceremony in order to reorganize staff’s social work programs which have been led by each operation, and to come up with solutions for the methodical operation of these programs.”
