Sensor fusion is the key component of safety-assured design for level 4/5 autonomous driving. LG Innotek possess the 5 capability of ultra-precision sensor fusion design that maximizes the synergy effect of various sensors within the sensor pod. With the high-resolution athermic technology applied, an external camera for LG Innotek’s autonomous driving can endure lowest temperature of -40°C and highest temperature of 105°C and is optimized for module design with IP67/69K, 2Mp/5Mp/8Mp, Slim PKG. In addition, through the embedded MTF 1 detection, Tilt adjustment functions, it helps ma ke autonomous driving even safer.

DMS/CMS Camera

LG Innotek’s autonomous driving internal camera recognizes movements of an object with 3D. Using IR LED and VCSEL as light sources, it prides itself with high precision for indoor conditions. Since it collects information on color and NIR at the same time, it provides eve n more accurate RGB images to the driver in a dark environment.
