LG Innotek (CEO by Ung-Beom Lee) commenced its second-half college graduate recruitment on Sept 3, 2012.
The company plans to hire about 200 new employees, mainly in the R&D and Engineering field, including in the LED, PCB, Mobile, Display, Network, and Automotive arenas.
Applications are being received through LG Innotek’s website, www.lginnotek.co.kr and the deadline is Sept. 12 (Wed).
The list of candidates who have successfully passed LG’s document screening in this second-half of the recruitment stage, which is processed in the order of document screening, personality, aptitude test, and interview, will be announced in the middle of September
LG is introducing a new recruiting process, beginning this year; the company will hire new talents by focusing on an applicant’s personality. With the philosophy that if the applicant does not have a good personality, he won’t be able to become a great worker, even if he has excellent skills, the company will be able to mainly verify an applicant’s attitude and potential.
To this end, the company has intensified the personality verification items in the letter of self-introduction and has improved the job interview process. The first interview evaluates the personality of an applicant and the second one examines their personality in a comprehensive manner, along with their job aptitude.
“This recruitment stresses sincerity (personality), rather than merely being ‘book smart’ (intellectual qualifications),” said an official at LG Innotek, “We have drastically improved every employment process from the job application to the interview, by focusing on verifying the applicant’s personality.”
Meanwhile, LG Innotek will run recruitment events at the campus of major colleges in the nation in line with the second-half of their college graduate recruitment schedule. The company is also planning to promote their communication with job applicants through the company’s blog: (blog.lginnotek.com).
