LG Innotek (CEO Young Ho, Hur) won thegrand prize in the semiconductor/facilities field of the 2009 Vision Awards, a world-renowned Annual Report Competition hosted by the League of American Communications Professionals LLC (LACP).
The LACP, a world-famous marketing survey organization, hosts the annual Vision Awards, which evaluate the annual reports and sustainable development reports of companies worldwide.
World-renowned authors, designers, and financial experts serve as judges at the competition, conducting comprehensive assessments of annual reports in terms of their structure, transparency, readability, design, accuracy in information delivery, and creativity.
More than 4,000 companies from 25 countries, the largest number ever, competed with each other at this year’s event to win the prizes.
Of the eight evaluation categories, LG Innotek won full scores in five categories - content presentation, financial data, uniqueness, accuracy of message, and information accessibility - to win the grand prize.
Notably, experts say that LG Innotek received high marks for emphasizing its business areas and product introduction to efficiently communicate the characteristics of its parts and materials business and its competitiveness, as well as its managerial performance.
An LG Innotek official said, “Winning the Vision Awards has paved the way for the Company to increase the credibility of its annual reports and enhance its corporate value in the eyes of global investors, as well as in the domestic market.”
