LG Innotek and LG Micron have taken a significant first step in integrating their two companies. On October 2, approximately 120 top managers from both companies met in Pyeongtaek, Korea under the theme “Integrate for a Common Vision”.

In creating this common vision, the two companies started off from the shared LG management principles of Creating Value for Customers, Respecting Human Dignity, and the Right Way Management.

In addition, the two sets of managers came together and shared their company’s business and operational situation to create the outline of a plan to maximize the synergies of working together.

Through this meeting, the two sides reconciled their various respective internal and external vision goals to create an integrated global company united around a finalized common vision that will be shared with the entire workforces of both companies.

On September 29, the Boards of Directors of LG Innotek and LG Micron approved the integration of the two companies, effective as of December 31, 2008. This integration will enhance the global competitiveness of both companies and increase corporate value.
