As of the end of June, LG Innotek has become a manufacturer of 900 MHz Ultra High Frequency(UHF) Radio Frequency Identification (RFID).

This leading RFID product comes in a modular form. Its primary usage is in materials, production, supply networks, storage, and inventory management.

It is much thinner than existing substitutes, making it suitable for smart shelf, storage rack management uses.

The product has a great advantage that through wireless LAN and Zigbee, it can be part of an ubiquitous sensor network as a wireless RF module, being part of a RFID system constructed wireless total solution.

Korea’s Ministry of Information and Communication selected the LG Innotek RFID as a leading-edge RFID device.

Radio frequency testing is being prepared in expectation of exporting the product to the United States, Japan, and Europe.

On June 13, LG Innotek introduced the component at the International Materials & Components Industry Show(IMAC 2007) at KINTEX in Koyang City, Korea, where it received a great deal of attention from attendees.

LG Innotek will maximize the potential market for the device through a multiplicity of marketing means.
